LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT CELEBRATES A MILESTONE YEAR WITH MAJOR PROJECT OPENINGS AND AN INCREDIBLE PIPELINE OF NEW CREATIONS IN DEVELOPMENT

Hollywood, California, November 2023 – Following a record-breaking year in 2022, Legacy Entertainment built upon its momentum, making 2023 a year notable both for its new project openings, as well as the diversity and scope of a number of new projects which are currently in various stages of design and development. NEW PROJECT OPENINGS DURING 2023: 2023 was a banner year for the firm’s Theme Park, Aquarium, and Retail portfolios, marked most notably by the debut of the Chimelong Spaceship in Zhuhai, China. This colossal project immediately captured the world’s imagination upon its debut, with Britain’s The Sun hailing it as “an out of this world experience.”  Featuring over 4,000,000 square feet of enclosed space, the park officially shattered seven Guinness World Records, including World’s Largest Indoor Theme Park and World’s Largest Aquarium. The massive facility is also home to the world’s largest simulator attraction, with 304 seats on a single motion base. In 2021, Legacy announced its intention to “revolutionize retail” with its Destination Dining initiative – the first of these projects launched to tremendous acclaim during June 2023. Already “the favorite destination for people of Jakarta,” according to NowJakarta, BATAVIA at PIK is a groundbreaking “floating city” retail mall featuring over 50 retail and dining venues overlooking a natural inlet from the Java Sea. Developed by Indonesia’s ASG, the Jakarta Post has lauded the new project as “their latest masterpiece.” LEGACY PROJECTS CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT: Legacy continues to be a market leader in Asia, where the company has already opened projects for Lotte, Chimelong, Haichang, and Vinpearl, among other major industry players. 2023 continued this trend with two, full, new parks in-development with Vinpearl, in addition to mega projects in various stages of design for China, South Korea, and Indonesia. Legacy has also taken its first steps towards expanding into Saudi Arabia, and is currently working with that country’s premier developers on multiple groundbreaking entertainment destinations. This year’s biggest Legacy announcement took place in July, during a signing ceremony in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. There, Legacy’s Eric Carnagey represented the firm in the closing of a major deal to design and develop an all-new Water Park resort intended to showcase local culture in ways never-before-imagined. The project is midway through the design process, with construction expected to begin in early 2024. LEGACY MILESTONES & RECOGNITIONS: This month marks the fifth anniversary of the opening of Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park – the $730,000,000 project has welcomed over 3,000,000 visitors per year since, establishing it as a worthy competitor to the nearby Shanghai Disneyland. Legacy’s other recently opened projects have continued to thrive, with Lotte World Adventure Busan being named by CNN as one of the world’s “Top 8 New Theme Parks,” and the Vinpearl SeaShell Aquarium in Vietnam being labeled “The Best Aquarium in the World” by Attractions 360°. Most recently, Legacy’s Eric Carnagey was included on the “Blooloop 50” list of top industry influencers, alongside top talents from Disney, Universal, Merlin, and others. Regarded as the industry’s highest honor, this recognition reflects not only Legacy’s continued growth, but also smaller accomplishments, including an unprecedented 17,000,000 organic social media impressions so far, year to date. INDONESIAN-BASED BATAVIA PIK, A GROUNDBREAKING RETAIL DESTINATION DESIGNED BY LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT IN COLLABORATION WITH AMANTARA (AGUNG SEDAYU GROUP), ANNOUNCES PHASE 1 OPENING AT GOLF ISLAND PIK

Hollywood, CA and Jakarta, Indonesia, May 2023 – Indonesia’s foremost developers, Agung Sedayu Group (ASG) and Salim Group, have announced that the first phase of Batavia PIK, a next-generation retail complex which is part of their Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) mega-development, will make its debut later this month. The second phase is anticipated to begin rolling out in the third quarter of this year, completing the list of integrated destinations and facilities in the PIK township.Conceptualized and master planned by California-based Legacy Entertainment in collaboration with Amantara (a subsidiary of ASG), Batavia PIK is the world’s first overwater retail, dining, and entertainment complex. The destination is also the first project to debut as a result of this unique creative partnership between the two groups.“Batavia PIK holds a special place in the hearts of the Legacy team,” says Marcus King, Legacy Entertainment’s Chief Projects Officer, as well as one of the firm’s owners.  Noting that it was the first new contract the company took on during the Covid-19 pandemic, King continues, “This was the first project designed while we were all learning a new way of working, not to mention having never met our partners in-person! ASG’s spirit of collaboration made the process so seamless and enjoyable that I can’t imagine we will ever forget it.”Batavia PIK’s unique setting called for an equally unique creative solution. After exploring several concepts, the teams mutually agreed on the boldest of these proposals – a ‘floating city’ erected entirely over an inlet from the Java Sea. Moreover, Batavia PIK will be the second compound on Golf Island PIK to apply an Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) using water and waste management, eco-friendly materials, and other green technologies. With this scheme, upscale esplanades flank both sides of the canal, allowing access to the elaborate network of overwater boardwalks, which connect over 53 leasable facilities and entertainment facilities. More facilities add to the convenience of visitors, such as souvenir stores, cafes, curated retail tenants, a floating Musholla (prayer room), pedestrian walkways, and global culinary choices.“Our inspiration comes from Batavia city as the trade center in the colonial era of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, dubbed as the ‘Queen of the East’,” says Natalia Kusumo, CEO of Commercials & Hotels Division 2 Amantara – Agung Sedayu Group. “The port city, now called Jakarta, is famous for its beauty and as a melting pot where various nations gathered and traded. The resulting cultural assimilation thus influenced architecture, arts, culinary, and other aspects of local cultures.”The meeting of the past with the present is a key concept woven throughout every facet of the nearly-28,000 square meter Batavia PIK complex and showcased through architectural details. Colonial-style windows and arches, for example, blend together with rattan weaves and indigenous building materials to embody a tropical vernacular style. With a vision to preserve Indonesia’s history and various cultures, Batavia PIK presents Pasar Rakjat as one of its main concepts. This area supports the SMEs in Indonesia through a unique marketplace architecture and nostalgic decoration divided into Pasar Buku, Pasar Gerabah, Pasar Loak, Pasar Anyaman, and Pasar Perabot. By supporting the local SMEs, Pasar Rakjat aims to grow Indonesia’s tourism, especially in the greater Jakarta area.“Retail developers all over the world are in a moment of reflection and transition,” adds King. “With its seamless fusion of ancient and modern culture, retail, and entertainment, we hope that Batavia PIK will represent a literal bridge between the past and the future. No matter how the industry changes or audiences evolve, people all around the world will always want to dine together and be entertained together. Here they’ll be able to do both in a setting unlike any other.”Even before its opening day, Batavia PIK is already garnering international attention with the project recently recognized as the ‘Best Retail Development’ by the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards 2022. Thanks to its conceptual design and curated tenancy, Batavia PIK aims to become a modern melting pot to showcase the beauty of Indonesia for the people here and visitors from abroad.ABOUT AGUNG SEDAYU GROUPAgung Sedayu Group is a leading property developer with a proven track record in developing some of the most iconic properties around Indonesia. LOTTE WORLD ADVENTURE BUSAN THEME PARK, DESIGNED BY LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT, CELEBRATES ITS ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY WITH SIGNIFICANT ATTENDANCE MILESTONE

Busan, S. Korea, March 31, 2023 – Concurrent with its first-year anniversary, Lotte World Busan has reasons to celebrate – 1.4 million reasons to be specific. That’s the number of visitors the park hosted during its very first year of operation, marking a huge win for both Lotte and the Osiria Tourism Complex in Busan, South Korea. Designed by Legacy Entertainment, the intimate regional park, and second theme park to sport the Lotte World brand, has been enthusiastically received since its debut on March 31, 2022, and has significantly exceeded initial attendance projections. “The entire Legacy team is thrilled for the success of our friends and partners at Lotte World,” says Yaeli Chung, Legacy’s Managing Director of South Korea. “Outside of Disney and Universal, many new theme parks which have opened in the last decade have struggled to find their footing initially, so this makes such a healthy debut year such welcome news.”The attendance figure is particularly noteworthy due to the fact that the park relied heavily on local markets from which to draw visitors given that China, Busan’s primary source of international tourism, did not allow for international visitors to the country until just recently. In fact, Lotte World Busan’s first-anniversary attendance figure equates to the park having hosted 1 out of every 3 residents in Busan.According to Lotte officials, the future looks bright for the park’s second season and beyond. In recent years, as many as 3 out of 5 international tourists to South Korea hailed from China, with per capita spending north of $3,000 per visitor. The return of this lucrative travel sector will be key to the continued success of the Lotte World theme park, and the entire Osiria Tourism Complex, allowing them to reach their full potential. The first few months of 2023 saw the easing of the country’s remaining Covid restrictions for international travelers, and all signs bode well for a dramatic recovery of the region’s tourism sector.Coinciding with the park’s one-year anniversary celebration is a new feature called “Spring in the Fairy Tale Kingdom”- a seasonal festival featuring special photo opportunities, live performances, new menu items, and limited time retail offerings. Longer term, Lotte officials have indicated that expansions to the park are currently in the planning stages, as they hope to keep pace with the above-expected steady attendance.ABOUT LOTTE WORLDLotte World is South Korea’s leading theme park owner and operator, with its flagship park located in the heart of Seoul, South Korea. Since its opening in 1989, Lotte World has consistently ranked among the world’s top-performing theme parks, drawing between 5 and 7 million visitors each year. Located in Seoul’s Jamsil district, the park is divided into two main themed areas- Lotte World Adventure (indoor theme park) and Magic Island (outdoor attraction area). The park features a number of heavily-themed attractions including “The Adventure of Sinbad,” “Pharaoh’s Fury,” and “Atlantis Adventure,” in addition to a number of classic family rides, shows, and attractions. Lotte World Adventure Busan marks the chain’s second full-scale theme park in South Korea.Lotte World Adventure Busan is the centerpiece of Busan’s Osiria Tourism Complex, located about 45 minutes by train outside of the city center. Envisioned as the city’s premiere tourism destination, Osiria currently features a dynamic array of attractions and experiences, including a Lotte Premium Outlet complex, Hillside Luge, Science Museum, Golf Club, and IKEA. Future additions will include a Hilton Hotel and Aqua World. Please see: www.lotteworld.com

AS MACAU REBOUNDS, LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT IS DEVELOPING NEW ATTRACTIONS & PARKS TARGETING NEW, NON-GAMING INITIATIVE

Macau, China, February 27, 2023 – In an historic move, Macau’s ‘Big Six’ Casino operators have been granted ten-year extensions of their gaming licenses in exchange for a commitment to invest $14.9 billion U.S. dollars over the next decade, with 90% of that directed towards non-gaming attractions and experiences.Globally renowned design firm Legacy Entertainment has positioned itself at the forefront of this effort, and is currently developing a slate of ambitious Theme Park, Water Park, and Attraction products tailored specifically for the Macau market. Most recently, Legacy completed the design of a 30,000 square meter Indoor Theme Park for one of the city’s largest integrated resorts.“Working shoulder-to-shoulder with icons like Galaxy’s Francis Lui and Melco’s Lawrence Ho has been among the highlights of my career. Together, we’ve helped shape the landscape of modern-day Macau. My entire team and I are thrilled to continue working in one of our favorite markets as Macau enters this new era,” says Taylor Jeffs, President & Chief Creative Officer of Legacy Entertainment, one of Macau’s most notable entertainment design consultants. For nearly 15 years, the Legacy team has had a major presence all throughout the Pearl River Delta, with its principals having served as lead design consultants for both Galaxy Macau, which opened in 2011, as well as Studio City Macau, which debuted in 2015. Just across the river, the Legacy Entertainment team was also responsible for the design of the Chimelong Marine Science Park, a colossal 370,000 square meter complex that will claim the title of “World’s Largest Indoor Theme Park” upon its debut later this year. The outlook is optimistic for Asia’s gaming capital of Macau. Last month, the territory’s six largest casino operators saw revenue increases up to 36%, with a full recovery to pre-pandemic levels anticipated to take two years. Historically, non-gaming revenue has only accounted for less than 15% of the local government’s revenue, so this shift in priorities will fundamentally change the way Macau exists.“The goal now is different than it was when we started designing Galaxy Macau in 2006, and Studio City Macau in 2011,” Jeffs adds. “Back then, the mandate was to create the world’s most compelling gaming destination. Now we’re out to simply create one of the world’s top entertainment destinations for all ages. It’s a tall order, but I am confident my brilliant team of collaborators is up to the challenge.”ABOUT LEGACY ENTERTAINMENTLegacy Entertainment stands as one of the most successful, independent, entertainment design firms in the global industry today. SHANGHAI HAICHANG OCEAN PARK, DESIGNED BY LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT, AWARDED ‘CHINA’S BEST THEME PARK’ BY CHINA’S THEME PARK RESEARCH INSTITUTE

Shanghai, China, January 16, 2023 – As it approaches the fifth anniversary of its grand opening, Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park has been named “China’s Best Theme Park” by The Institute for Theme Park Studies in China. This designation is only the latest of the many major accolades that have been bestowed upon the 73-acre Marine Life Theme Park which was created by California-based entertainment design firm, Legacy Entertainment.“We continue to be thrilled for the success for our friends and partners at Haichang,” says Eric Carnagey, Legacy’s Managing Director, as well as one of the firm’s owners. “Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, which is positioned as the chief competitor to the superlative Shanghai Disneyland, was realized for less than 15% of the former’s investment. Given this, the park’s many achievements and successes are all the more remarkable.”Some of the past awards which have been bestowed upon Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park include “Best Theme Park” by China’s largest theme park organization, CAAPA (Chinese Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions); “Outstanding Themed Land Park,” “Outstanding Family Entertainment Center,” and “Outstanding Social Media Famous Tourist Attraction” at 2020’s Golden Crown Awards; as well as “2021’s Most Popular Attraction” at The China Cultural Tourism Innovation and Development Forum.Prior to the start of the COVD-19 era, Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park was drawing over 3,000,000 visitors per year. Despite the many challenges posed by the pandemic, the park’s performance continually defied projections, with a recent attendance surge attributed to the popular Ultraman-themed offerings which launched in July 2022. The experiences, which include a large-scale museum, boutique, and restaurant, were also recognized with awards from The Institute for Theme Park Studies in China.“The licensing and successful roll-out of Tsuburaya Productions’ Ultraman intellectual property by Haichang is a huge milestone for the Chinese domestic theme park landscape,” adds Carnagey. “China, the world’s second largest Theme Park market, has generally been slow to adopt international IP. Given the undeniable success of Haichang’s Ultraman activations, we expect a fundamental shift to the landscape to play out over the next five years.”Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park, which first debuted in November 2018, is a signature project in the portfolio of Legacy Entertainment, a renowned global design company which has–in recent years–seen itself become one of the world’s most in-demand aquarium design companies. April 2022 saw the opening of Vietnam’s largest aquarium at VinWonders Theme Park on Phu Quoc Island. Summer 2023 is expected to usher in the arrival of the Legacy-designed Chimelong Marine Science Park–a sprawling complex which will take the crown of “World’s Largest Indoor Theme Park” upon its debut.ABOUT SHANGHAI HAICHANG OCEAN PARKSince its grand opening in November 2018, Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park has quickly become recognized as one of China’s most successful theme parks, both in terms of operation and commercial performance. LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT CONTINUES ITS ROLE AS A GLOBAL INDUSTRY LEADER IN ASIAN TERRITORIES WITH 16 MAJOR PROJECTS IN VARIOUS STAGES OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT CONTINUES ITS ROLE AS A GLOBAL INDUSTRY LEADER IN ASIAN TERRITORIES WITH 16 MAJOR PROJECTS IN VARIOUS STAGES OF DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION Hollywood, CA, October 18, 2022 – On the eve of IAAPA 2022, California-based design studio Legacy Entertainment will make its presence known at that major industry event with wind in its sails, having firmly established its position at the forefront of the global tourism recovery movement. In fact, the company is actually celebrating its biggest year since the Legacy brand was unveiled!  Legacy’s four owners are reflecting on their milestone year – and on the exciting developments yet to come: “With six projects under-construction, and another ten in various stages of design, we are happy to announce that Legacy has continued to hold onto its place as Asia’s leading entertainment design firm for yet another fantastic year,” says Taylor Jeffs, Legacy’s President and Chief Creative Officer. Jeffs notes that the firm’s workload is wide and varied, with the projects spread across four countries and spanning a variety of disciplines, from world-class theme parks to next generation shopping destinations.  The Legacy executives revealed that Vietnam has recently emerged as one of the firm’s most important markets. Following the attention-getting debut of The Sea Shell Aquarium at VinWonders Theme Park in April – which the company designed – Legacy has continued to remain in high demand among that country’s largest developers, with five major destinations currently in the works.  “Much like our work in Indonesia, our projects in Vietnam often require creative solutions by which our clients can offer their guests world-class experiences where the spending power of the consumer might be less than in more-developed tourism markets,” says Barry Kemper, Legacy’s Chief Operating Officer. “Very often, these budget-conscious experiences can meet or exceed their world-class counterparts, located elsewhere around the world.”  In South Korea, another stronghold for Legacy, the all-new Lotte World Adventure Busan Theme Park has emerged as a very strong performer- so strong, in fact, that Legacy has also been developing new Dark Ride and Parade concepts for the chain’s flagship park in Seoul. In the wake of this success, Legacy has also been engaged as Entertainment Consultant for another major South Korean development, which is targeting a late 2024 opening.  “While we cannot give specifics at this moment about the major new South Korean project we are now actively designing, our upcoming work there has no benchmark. Our team has taken on the great creative challenge of pioneering something completely new – something that is guaranteed to shock and amaze audiences all around the globe,” says Marcus King, Legacy’s Chief Projects Officer.  Despite China’s borders still being closed, Legacy has continued to make inroads within this all-important market. Most recently, the firm has designed a number of yet-to-be-announced major projects – one based on a globally renowned automobile brand, and another on a top-performing video game. Recently, Legacy also prevailed in international design competitions to create new destinations for Enlight – China’s largest private film and television studio – as well as OCT’s largest and most-ambitious resort ever.  Elsewhere in Asia, Legacy’s work also continues to remain popular in Indonesia, where the company historically has been responsible for the creation of three Theme Parks, two Malls, and two E-Ticket Dark Rides. On the heels of the successful launch of the new Trans Studio Theme Parks, Legacy was sought out by one of the country’s largest developers to serve as Entertainment Consultant for PIK 2- a new city the size of San Francisco, currently being built near Jakarta. Details of the first project, currently well into construction, will be released in the coming months.  “The secret behind Legacy’s rapid growth and enduring success is simpler than one might think,” says Eric Carnagey, Legacy’s Managing Director. “We don’t simply design things or environments. We design and deliver ideas. The alchemy of our dreamers and designers cannot be duplicated! We are continually humbled and thrilled that the uniqueness of our products have been – and remain – recognized and valued by the dozens of the world’s top developers and biggest entertainment brands.”  ABOUT LEGACY ENTERTAINMENT:  Originally launched in 2002, the Hollywood, California-based Legacy Entertainment stands as one of the most successful, independent, entertainment design firms in the global industry today.
